Varuntej’s Mister Movie Review Rating Analysis:
Mega Prince Varuntej is back with his latest outing Mister which has been directed by Srinu Vaitla. Lavanya Tripathi and Hebah Patel are the female leads in the film which is said to be a romantic drama laced with entertainment. With Srinu Vaitla occupied with back to back failures, he pinned massive hopes on Mister. Nallamalapu Bujji and Tagore Madhu are the producers of Mister. Here is the complete review of the film:
Mister Story:
Mister is all about the story of Chai (Varuntej) who stays with his family in Spain. He accidentally meets Meera (Hebah Patel) and falls in love with her during his five days of journey with her. He comes to know that she is in love with Siddarth (Prince) after which he decides to help her. Knowing about her troubles, he flies to India after which he happens to meet Chandra mukhi (Lavanya Tripathi). The rest of Mister is all about how Chai solves all the problems and win his love. Watch Mister to know about the rest.
Mister Analysis:
The first half of Mister is all managed with entertainment throughout. If you forget the logic, the first half of Mister will keep you entertaining throughout. The songs have been shot well and the emotional content looks decent. However the movie lacks interesting content and the entire narration has been predictable to the core. The interval episodes have been dragged so much and on the whole the first half of Mister looks ok.
The second half of Mister is a huge disappointment as Srinu Vaitla fails in all the available ways to keep the audience engaging. The major plot of the film has been deviated and the unwanted comedy tracks kill the film completely. A huge dose of unwanted action chases make no impact on the audience. The songs have been shot well and the climax looks decent. On the whole the second half of Mister is a huge letdown for the movie.
Mister Performances:
Varuntej packs a punch with his outstanding performance in the film. He has been impressive with his looks and comic timing throughout the film. Lavanya Tripathi has been traditional and as usual she impressed the audience with her subtle performance. Hebah Patel has been energetic throughout and she is one of the major highlights of the movie. All the other leading actors delivered out their best for the film.
The story of Mister has been completely outdated and it offers nothing new for the audience. The screenplay lacks interesting aspects and the dialogues look ok. The cinematography is the major highlight of the film and the music has been decent. The songs have been shot well and the production values looked grand. Srinu Vaitla’s poor directorial abilities once again kill a film like Mister.
Mister Final Word:
Though Srinu Vaitla comes out of his previous debacles, Mister is not an impressive film as it lacks an interesting and engaging second half. A boring, routine and predictable romantic drama that can be given a skip.
Mister Rating: 2.5/5.0
