Positives:
Suriya
Emotional episodes
Background score
Cinematography
Negatives:
Slow pace
Boring stuff
Second Half
Plotless script
Performances:
Suriya, as usual, delivers his best performance with NGK. He has been outstanding in the emotional episodes and leads the show completely. Sai Pallavi is a treat to watch her perform and she too delivered her best for the movie. Rakul Preet Singh competed well with the other lead actors and essayed a never seen role as a modern girl. All the other actors did their roles well.
NGK has a lean plot which will sure not leave the audience excited. The screenplay and dialogues fall short of expectations. The music and background score have been decent. The cinematography work is the major highlight of NGK and the production values look grand. The editing work is good and Selvaraghavan’s work turns a misfire this time.
Verdict:
NGK is a badly presented political drama that make any impact hardly. Suriya and his team disappoint the audience big time.
Rating : 2.5/5
