Kabali:
Superstar Rajinikanth is back with his latest movie titled Kabali which is the most awaited Indian movie. PA Ranjith directed the movie and Radhika Apte, Dhansika essayed the female leads. Santosh Narayanan composed the music and S Thanu produced Kabali on V Creations banner. Made on a budget of Rs 120 crores, the movie is hitting theatres in over 4000 screens all over.
Story:
Kabaleeswaran (Ranjith) lives in Malaysia as his parents migrated from India to Malaysia years ago and they work as daily labour. Born in a poor family, Kabali too turns a labourer and he witnesses many incidents in which the labour gets badly treated by their bosses. It is then the don in him wakes up bringing a lot of change in the society. During this time he falls in love with Kumudhavalli (Radhika Apte) after which his life changes. Watch Kabali to know about the shocking twist that takes place before the climax.
Analysis:
The first half of the film has been slow but decent. You do not notice a strong plot or a huge twist but the film passes by the flow. It goes smooth with regular incidents taking the major role. The performances will sure blow your mind and the action episodes have been worth watching. On the whole the first half has decent stuff which lives up to the expectations all over.
The second half takes a completely different turn as the film has been racy and filled with emotional episodes that will sure impress the audience big time. The serious emotional drama makes a huge impact on the audience all over. PA Ranjith roars with his directorial skills during the second half. The climax has been difficult to digest however the second half of Kabali has killer stuff and will sure impress the audience big time.
Performances:
Superstar Rajinikanth need not have a mention and he strikes in each and every frame in the movie. His stupendous screen presence is a real treat to watch on the screen and is the major highlight of the film. Radhika Apte delivered her career’s best performance till date. She has been outstanding with her role and Riythvika has done a decent job and lived up the expectations. Dhansika has been wow in the stylish role and did her job well. Winston Chao has been challenging in the role and all the other actors have been decent.
The story of the film is simple and suits the mannerism of Rajinikanth. The screenplay and the dialogues have been decent and the screenplay has been completely gripping and laced well. The music by Santosh Narayanan has tamil flavour but he completely dominated with his background score. The cinematography and the other technical values have been outstanding and the production values have been lavish. PA Ranjith roars with his directorial abilities and Kabali is sure a treat to be watched.
Final Word:
Kabali is a movie that will appeal for both mass and class audience. An outstanding narration with huge dose of emotions and action episodes. A film that is not to be missed.
