Adah Sharma and Nandita Swetha are the heroines. Produced by C Kalyan and Jeevitha Rajasekhar, Kalki released across the globe today. Here is the complete review of the film:
Story:
Kalki (Rajasekhar) is a fearless and ruthless cop who had an impeccable track record in investigating cases. He has been asked to take up the case of Sekhar Babu who gets killed in Kolhapur, a village in which two groups have been fighting against each other for years. Kalki lands into the village and starts his investigation after which he finds a bunch of facts unfolded. The rest of Kalki is all about the real plans for killing Sekhar Babu and the culprits behind the murder.
Positives:
Rajasekhar and his roaring performance
Production Values
Cinematography
Negatives:
Poor plot
Screenplay and direction
Bunch of actors
Poor twists
Performances:
Rajasekhar tops the show and carries the entire film on his shoulders with his flawless performance. He looks perfect as a ruthless cop in the role. Adhah Sharma and Nandita Swetha have been decent in their assignments and they performed well in their roles. The film has a list of top rated actors and all of them did justice for their roles. Rahul Ramakrishna has been decent in the assignment as a journalist. All the other actors have been good.
Kalki has no interesting plot and the screenplay is the major disappointment of the film. The dialogues have been ok and the music, background score have been poor. The cinematography work and the production values are the major highlights of Kalki. The editing should has been good and Prashanth Varma fails badly in all the available ways with Kalki.
Final Word:
Kalki is undoubtedly one of the biggest disappointments in the recent times. Rajasekhar and his performance are the only saviors.
