Young actor Allu Sirish is back testing his luck with his next film titled Okka Kshanam. Directed by VI Anand, Okka Kshanam is said to be an action thriller and Surabhi played the female lead. Srinivas Avasarala and Seerat Kapoor played other crucial roles in Okka Kshanam which released all over today. Manisharma composed the music and Chakri Chigurupati produced this action thriller. Here is the complete review of Okka Kshanam:
Story:
Okka Kshanam is based on the concept of Parallel Lives. The film is about Jeeva (Allu Sirish) who falls in love with Jyosthna (Surabhi) who even falls for him. Right at the time when things are extremely smooth, they come to know about a couple (Srinivas Avasarala and Seerat Kapoor). All the things happen extremely common for both the couple and it is the death of Seerat Kapoor that shatter Jeeva and Jyosthna. The rest of Okka Kshanam is all about the mystery behind her death and about the concept of Parallel Lives. Watch Okka Kshanam to know about the rest.
Analysis:
The first half of Okka Kshanam starts off on a slow pace and it takes enough time to get into the real plot. The film turns interesting as it nears to the interval. The concept of Parallel Lives leaves the audience in excitement and the entire first half of Okka Kshanam looks decent. The music and the background elevate the film well and on the whole the first half looks passable and turns decent because of the interval bang.
The second half of Okka Kshanam has been racy and is quite interesting for some time. However some of the episodes lack interest as the director fails to narrate them in a convincing way. The way the murder mystery was unfolded makes no impact which is a huge disappointment. Surprisingly the climax which is quite crucial fails to impress the audience and ends on a simple not. On the whole, the second half of Okka Kshanam fails to live up the expectations.
Performance:
Allu Sirish tops the show with his flawless performance throughout the film. He improved a lot in all the aspects and has been decent in the emotional episodes. Surabhi has been a treat to watch and she performed with ease in the role of Jyosthna. Srinivas Avasarala is an asset for Okka Kshanam and he did his role with perfection. Seerat Kapoor looks decent and she has a crucial role assigned. All the other actors have been apt and perfect in their roles.
Okka Kshanam has an interesting plot which has never been discussed. The screenplay and the dialogues of Okka Kshanam look decent. The music and the background score are the major highlights of the movie. The cinematography has been outstanding and it projected the film’s mood. The editing has been crisp enough and the production values have been lavish. VI Anand steps out with one more interesting film but fails to execute the plot in the right way.
Verdict:
Okka Kshanam is a decent attempt but the second half is a huge misfire as the film drops down at the much needed time. Allu Sirish and the lead actors impress the audience with their performances.
