Natural Star Nani who has been scoring back to back blockbusters is back with his next movie Middle Class Abbayi (MCA). Sriram Venu who earlier directed Oh My Friend is making his comeback with MCA. Sai Pallavi is the female lead and Bhoomika, Rajeev Kanakala are the other lead actors. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes and Dil Raju bankrolled MCA on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The movie released all over today and here is the complete review of MCA:
Story:
MCA is the story of Nani (Nani) who is a typical middle class guy. In a sudden move, he is asked to move to Warangal along with his vadina (Bhoomika) to support her. It is during this time, he falls in love with Pallavi (Sai Pallavi). At the right time when things are going smooth, his family lands into an unexpected trouble. The rest of MCA is all about how Nani sorts all the problems and brings back things to normal. Watch Middle Class Abbayi (MCA) to know about the complete story.
Analysis:
MCA has a decent first half which has been laced with all the commercial ingredients in right amounts. The entertainment takes the lead throughout and the characters have been written well. The songs in the first half are a huge disappointment however the love story has been well-narrated. The interval episodes and the conflict point have been interesting and on the whole, the first half of MCA has been apt and perfect.
The second half of MCA is an utter disappointment and it travels in a predictable path. The songs look decent and the episodes of Nani revealing the middle class mentality of guys have been decent. The cat and mouse game has been completely disappointing and the climax too looks completely predictable and outdated. On the whole the second half of MCA fails to live up the expectations.
Performance:
Nani tops the show as a middle class guy in the movie. The actor’s performance along with his comic timing are the major highlights. He carried the film on his shoulders completely and is a treat to watch. One who expects more about Sai Pallavi will be disappointed as she doesn’t have a convincing role assigned. She has been decent in the assignment and shined with perfection. Bhoomika played a crucial role in the film and she has been completely apt. Naresh, Rajeev Kanakala have been completely perfect and they assigned them with perfection. All the other actors looked decent.
The story of MCA is quite routine except Nani and his vadhina episodes. The screenplay and the dialogues look decent. The music and the background score of MCA are the biggest disappointments of the film. The cinematography looks completely decent and the production values have been below the mark. Sriram Venu steps out with one more pale and outdated film which falls flat.
Verdict:
MCA is one film that has a decent first half but falls flat because of the pale and predictable second half. Nani tops the show with his comic timing and Bhoomika shines with perfection.
Review: 2.75/5
