Here is the complete review of Lakshmi’s NTR:

Story:

Lakshmi’s NTR narrates the film from the point of Lakshmi Parvathi’s view. The film starts off at NTR’s house in 1989 after he is left away. The episodes on how Lakshmi Parvathi is introduced and how she is betrayed by his family. Lakshmi’s NTR is focused on how NTR returns back to power 1994, his marriage with Lakshmi Parvathi and his conspiracy with his family. Watch Lakshmi’s NTR to know about the story and what happens next.

Positives:

Controversial stuff
Anti TDP lovers will love the film

Negatives:

Bad First Half
Poor second half
Huge dose of unwanted stuff
Cinematography and Music
Production Values
Direction

Performances:

Ram Gopal Varma was successful in locking actors who look similar to NTR, Lakshmi Parvathi and Chandra Babu Naidu but they failed to live up the expectations in the film. NTR’s role was no match and will leave the audience shattered. All the other actors remind us about a B grade film. Lakshmi’s NTR has a bunch of new faces and one can find a performer rarely.

Lakshmi’s NTR lacks gripping plot and Ram Gopal Varma picked up controversies, penned it loosely. The screenplay and dialogues are worse and they make the film even poor. The cinematography work, music and the bad production values make Lakshmi’s NTR an out and out disaster. Some of the episodes in the second half are shot well. Rest of Lakshmi’s NTR is scrap and can be completely ignored.

Verdict:

Ram Gopal Varma once again fails badly in keeping the audience engaged with an interesting controversial political drama. Lakshmi’s NTR is a film that can be given a skip.

Rating: 2/5
