Young actors Nara Rohit and Naga Shourya are testing their luck back with Kathalo Rajakumari. Directed by a debutant Mahesh Surapaneni, Namitha Pramod played the female lead. After a long delay, Kathalo Rajakumari is hitting the screens today. Here is the complete review of the film:
Story:
Kathalo Rajakumari is all about Arjun (Nara Rohit) who turns arrogant because of some incidents that take place during his childhood. He turns a villain on screen and even in his life. This is when he meets Sita (Namita Pramod) who happens to be his childhood friend. Arjun prefers to pretend as he never met her. The rest of Kathalo Rajakumari is all about his love story, how he hits back and is about Shourya (Naga Shourya) who is jealous of Arjun. Watch Kathalo Rajakumari to know about the story.
Analysis:
The first half of Kathalo Rajakumari has been decent and looks interesting. Though some of the scenes look dragged and poorly narrated, the performances by the lead actors make a massive impact. The love story has been appealing and fresh, the songs have been placed well. The real point has not been well narrated however the first half of Kathalo Rajakumari looks passable.
The second half of Kathalo Rajakumari is a pure disappointment in all the available ways because of the poorly written script and bad execution. Debutant Mahesh Surapaneni is unfit as a director as Kathalo Rajakumari has been badly handled. The songs had no situations and the emotional content misses to strike hard. The climax looks completely fake and the second half of Kathalo Rajakumari is a huge disaster.
Performance:
Nara Rohit has been loud, exceptional and impressive with his performance in the role of Arjun. The actor nailed it in style and did justice for the role. Naga Shourya has been decent and impressive in his short yet important role. Namita Pramod has been completely impressive and entertaining in her role as Sita. She played the role well and has been a perfect choice. All the other actors looked impressive in their assigned role.
The story of Kathalo Rajakumari has nothing new and is the first reason for the film’s disappointment. The screenplay and dialogues make no impact and they added strength for the film’s debacle. The music has been ok but the background score has been disappointing. The cinematography and editing look decent. The production values have been grand and debutant Mahesh Surapaneni fails badly in turning out a golden opportunity into his favor. He helms Kathalo Rajakumari into a tv serial.
Verdict:
Kathalo Rajakumari is a huge disappointment and can be given a massive skip as the film offers nothing. The lead actors have been decent but it alone could not save the film. Kathalo Rajakumari can be completely ignored.
Kathalo Rajakumari Ratings : 1.5/5
