Katamarayudu First Week Collections: Powerstar Pawan Kalyan pinned massive hopes on his next movie titled Katamarayudu which is touted to be a clean and romantic family entertainer. Kishore Kumar Pardasani (Dolly) directed the movie which has been made on a tight budget. The makers sold the film for a massive prices and the movie’s pre-release business touched Rs 100 crores. Shruti Haasan is the heroine in Katamarayudu and Ali, Ajay, Siva Balaji, Chaitanya Krishna, Kamal Kamaraj played the other crucial roles in Katamarayudu.
The movie released in record number of screens and managed to hold well during the first weekend. The movie dropped badly during the weekdays. Katamarayudu collected a share of Rs 44.60 crores in its first week across the Telugu speaking states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Katamarayudu needs to mint huge money all over to end up as a safe project. Sharat Marar produced the movie on North Star Entertainments banner.
