Akhil Akkineni has been eagerly waiting to taste success and after a gap of two years he is back with his next film which has been titled Hello. Directed by Vikram K Kumar, the film is said to be a romantic entertainer. Kalyani Priyadarshan played the female lead and Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna played other pivotal roles. Annapurna Studios produced Hello and the film released today across the world. Here is the complete review of the movie:
Story:
Hello is all about two kids Seenu (Akhil Akkineni) and Junnu (Kalyani Priyadarshan) who get related to each other. It is the destiny that soon separates them and things change completely after Junnu and her family relocates to New Delhi. Seenu has been adopted by a rich family (Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna) after which he turns Avinash. Junnu turns Priya and the rest of Hello is all about how they meet back after fifteen years. Watch Hello to know about the complete story.
Analysis:
The first half of Hello reveals about the plot which has been interesting during the start. However the predictable and outdated episodes make the film fall flat. The childhood episodes have been dragged much and they share huge screen presence. The songs have been shot well and the interval episodes make the film interesting. The performances of the lead actors make the film turn decent. On the whole, the first half of Hello has been pretty average. The second half of Hello looks completely outdated and the major plot and the point has been kept aside. The film soon dips down completely and loses interest. It is the performances that keep the film lively however lack of entertainment and slow pace of narration makes the film dip down completely. The climax too fails to bring up the feel and the second half of Hello is a massive debacle.
Performance:
Akhil Akkineni tops the show with his flawless performance in Hello. The actor performed with ease and he has been outstanding in the emotional episodes. Kalyani Priyadarshan has been simple and sweet on screen. She has been expressive throughout the movie and performed well. Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna have been completely impressive in their assigned roles. All the other actors have been decent.
The story of Hello fails to make much impact. The screenplay and the dialogues of Hello lack interest and is a huge misfire. The music and the background score are the major assets of Hello. The cinematography has been completely elevating and the production values have been decent. Vikram Kumar fails to impress the audience bigtime with Hello.
Final Word:
Hello is one more misfire and fails to impress the audience. Akhil Akkineni has been impressive but this alone cannot save the film.
