Talented director Harish Shankar landed into controversies several times in the past. After a huge break, he is busy shooting for Valmiki, an action drama that is inspired from Tamil blockbuster film Jigarthandaa. The film features Varun Tej, Atharvaa Murali and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles and is in final stages of shoot. 14 Reels Plus are on board to produce Valmiki and the film is announced for September release.
As per the latest news, Harish Shankar promised the makers that he would wrap up the film in Rs 20 crores but the film’s budget heaped up. Harish Shankar even decided to acquire Vizag and Krishna territories which did not go well with the makers. Harish Shankar forcefully brought in Pooja Hegde and paid huge remuneration for her 20 days shoot. All these things irked the makers and all is not well between Harish Shankar and the makers. Valmiki is releasing on September 13th.
