Sensational filmmaker Shankar is busy with his next project 2.0 which has been delayed several times. Touted to be the costliest film made, 2.0 is busy with the post-production work. Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson are the lead actors while Akshay Kumar is playing the lead antagonist. After a series of delays, the makers are keen on releasing the film during April. Rajinikanth too confirmed the news during his recent public meets and a series of fresh speculations say that the film has been delayed again.
Due to the delay in the VFX work, the release of 2.0 has been delayed by couple of months more. With the major part of VFX work yet to be locked, Shankar is keen on announcing the official release date only after he gets the final output of the VFX work. The delay in release of 2.0 will now reshuffle the release dates of several Indian films. 2.0 is a high voltage sci-fi action thriller which has been made on a budget of Rs 450 crores. Lyca Productions bankrolled the film and the theatrical rights of the film have been sold for record prices. 2.0 will release in 3D in over 15 languages across the globe.
