Here is the complete review of the movie.
Story:-
Darsakudu is all about the story of Mahesh (Ashok) who dreams of making it big in films. He learns all the crafts of cinema and he works as a clap boy during his journey. It is during this time, he falls in love with Namratha (Eesha) a fashion designer who works for his films. The rest of the film is how his real life story impresses
a producer big time to make a film. Watch Darsakudu to know about the complete story.
Analysis:-
The first half of Darsakudu offers nothing and it looks quite outdated. Though the first episodes have been presented well, the passion and struggle of a filmmaker makes no impact on the audience. Ashok in the lead role is a huge disappointment for the film. The entire first half looks bad and the love story lacks freshness. The songs have been ok and they have been placed well. On the whole the entire first half of Darsakudu offers nothing much interesting.
The second half which is quite crucial for films of this genre to fails in all the available ways because of the poor narration skills. Though Eesha strikes hard with her performance, Ashok makes it tough for the audience to digest him on screen. With a senseless climax, Darsakudu falls flat in the second half too.
Performance:-
Ashok is sure not an actor who can perform with ease. It is hard to digest him on screen and his performance will leave the audience in disappointment. Eesha is sure the best thing that happened for the film and she performed throughout with utmost ease and perfection. She has been perfectly fit in the assigned role. All the other actors tried their best to impress the audience.
Darsakudu has a pale story line which is unimpressive and completely outdated. The screenplay and the dialogues too have been penned without any interest. The songs have been ok and couple of songs have been placed well. The cinematography looks decent and makes the film colorful. The production values have been ok and the debutant director fails completely in impressing the audience with Darsakudu.
Verdict:-
Darsakudu is one film that fails in all the available ways because of the poor scipt, predictable narration and amateurish performances.
Movie Review, Rating :- 2/5
