Mahanati is one of the most prestigious projects of Telugu cinema and the film has been aimed for summer release. Young director Nag Ashwin carved out this magnum opus which completed shoot recently. Keerthy Suresh plays legendary actress Savitri on screen in her biopic and Samantha plays a journalist in the film.
