Nandamuri Kalyanram is a happy man as his next film MLA has been carrying decent buzz. The movie marks the directorial debut of Upendra Madhav and is said to be a commercial entertainer laced with a love story and action drama. Kajal Agarwal is the female lead and Manisharma composed the music. The movie is hitting the screens this Friday and the MLA has been sold out all over. The theatrical rights of MLA have been sold for a record price of Rs 15 crores which is highest among Kalyanram’s movies.
The satellite deal has been closed for 3.5 crores and the overseas rights fetched Rs 2 crores. All the other rights have been sold for Rs 1.5 crores. MLA total business touched Rs 22 crores and the makers ended up in profits even before the film’s release. The pre-release event of MLA will take place today and the film is produced by Blue Planet Entertainments and People Media Factory banner. MLA is gearing up for a wide release on March 23rdall over.
