Positives:
Nikhil and his gang of friends
Simran Pareenja and her presence
Entertainment and first half
The way the songs have been shot
Interval Episodes
Negatives:
Flat narration
Boring and predictable second half
Poor narration
Direction
Performances:
Nikhil has been extremely impressive in the role of Krishna in two different shades. He manages to make lot of fun and at the same time he manages to be arrogant and stubborn throughout the second half. Simran Pareenja looks impressive and she performed well on screen. Samyuktha Hegde has been apt and she has been extremely energetic in the role. Nikhil’s gang of friends managed to entertain the audience well and they were well fit in their assignments.
Kirrak Party is a remake of Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party. The screenplay and the dialogues have been just ok and the film has not been well adopted. The music and the background score are the major highlights of Kirrak Party. The cinematography makes the film look colourful and the production values looked decent. Sharan Koppisetty fails to keep the audience engaging and the misses the emotional touch in the second half.
Verdict:
Kirrak Party is one film which will appeal to a limited section of youth as the film offers nothing interesting and engaging. The first half focussed on campus comedy, the second half turns serious and turns into a boring feast.
