Story:
Raja The Great is the story of Raja (Ravi Teja) who is well skilled but visually challenged. He comes to the rescue of Anantha Lakshmi (Mehreen) who happens to be the daughter of a sincere cop. The relation between Raja and Anantha Lakshmi forms the major story and Raja The Great is all about how he rescues her from the challenging goons. Analysis:
Raja The Great has a decent first half which bets big on sensible entertainment. The action episodes along with the songs are the major highlights along with Ravi Teja’s flawless performance as a visually challenging guy. The entire first half has been racy and is loaded with action and entertainment throughout. The interval episodes top the show and the first half of Raja The Great looks decent.
The second half which is crucial looks predictable and it is Ravi Teja who takes the film to the next level. The entire film has been gripping but Raja The Great dips at times. The emotional content has been well narrated and the songs look decent. The action episodes elevate the film well and on the whole the second half of Raja The Great lives up the expectations.
Performance:
Ravi Teja tops the show once again and his performance has been top notch. The actor essayed a blindman and he has been completely flawless throughout. Mehreen has been beautiful and performed well in the emotional episodes. Sreenivas Reddy has been entertaining and Radhika, Prakash Raj have been essayed pivotal roles and they shine with perfection. All the other actors have been decent with their performances.
The story of Raja The Great has been decent however it reminds us about many old films. The screenplay and the dialogues look decent. The music and the background score have been very good so as the cinematography. The production values look decent and the editing has been sharp enough. Anil Ravipudi steps out with one more convincing emotional entertainer that has been laced with loads of entertainment.
Final Word:
Raja The Great is predictable but the performances, emotional drama, entertainment and the action episodes take the film to the next level. Ravi Teja has been outstanding and Anil Ravipudi manages to convince the audience with Raja The Great.
