Superstar Mahesh Babu scored his career’s best hit last year with Srimanthudu and the movie is the second highest grossed Telugu movie after Baahubali. The movie has been directed by Koratala Siva who made a successful debut with Mirchi. Koratala Siva worked as a writer before he made his debut as a director and he took his time to prove his mettle as a director. Srimanthudu discussed about an innovative plot of village adaptation which touched the hearts of the audience all over. ShrutiHaasan played the heroine in the movie and Devi Sri Prasad composed the music. Mythri Movie Makers produced the film.
As per the latest update, Mahesh called up Koratala Siva and informed him to prepare a script. He will be busy shooting for his next movie in the direction of AR Murugadoss which will start rolling this month. The movie is said to be a stylish action entertainer and will have RakulPreet Singh in the female lead. The movie will complete shoot by December and Koratala Siva will direct his film with Mahesh from December this year. He is currently busy wrapping up the work of Tarak’sJanatha Garage which has been slated for release during September. Koratala will take a break for a week after the release of Janatha Garage and he will work on the script of Mahesh’s film. Top producer DVV Danayya will produce the film on DVV Entertainments banner.
Koratala Siva also signed a movie with Ramcharan and the project has been delayed as of now because Charan signed a movie in the direction of Sukumar which will be wrapped up by summer next year. As of now Charan’s film has been kept on hold and will start during the second half of next year. Charan is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming movie titled Dhruva in the direction of Surendar Reddy and RakulPreet is the female lead.
