Superstar Rajinikanth is one of the highest paid actors in South Indian cinema. His last outing Kabali ended up as a decent hit and he is back to the shoot of Robo 2.0 which started rolling next year. Sensational director Shankar directed the movie which is said to be the sequel of his past super hit film Robo. Rajinikanth has been to USA for over a month for the treatment of his health. He returned back to the country before Diwali and spent time with his family. The actor has been relaxing and he will join back the sets of Robo 2.0 from tomorrow.
Shankar will be canning some crucial scenes in this schedule and the makers are in plans to wrap up the shoot of Rajinikanth at the earliest. Rajini too is in plans to wrap up his part by the end of this year taking crisp breaks. Amy Jackson is the female lead and Akshay Kumar will be seen as the antagonist in the film. Produced by Lyca Productions, Robo 2.0 is all set for release during the second half of 2017. Made on a budget of Rs 350 crores, the movie is currently being shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.
