Niharika Konidela is a known face for small screen viewers as she hosted many television shows and she even made her presence in a web series. Her performance and presence received wide response from the audience all over and she has been on the top of the list of talented hosts. After she made it big on small screen, Niharika wanted to make her debut as an actress into mainstream cinema. She has been opposed by Mega family and Mega fans. It has been rumored that Megastar Chiranjeevi is not interested in Niharika turning out as an actress and so he did not extend his support and make it for the audio launch of her debut movie Oka Manasu.
Oka Manasu has been directed by Rama Raju and the movie has been touted to be a feel good entertainer. Young actor Naga Shourya played the lead role in the movie and the film released between huge expectations. Oka Manasu has been straightaway rejected by the audience because of the repeated content and the dead slow narration. Niharika pinned huge hopes on the film and she has been quite disappointed with the film’s result. However young actors Ramcharan, Allu Arjun, Varuntej, Sai Dharamtej, Allu Sirish extended their support and Niharika even received decent response for her performance in the movie.
Niharika has been listening to scripts from some time and the latest news is that she signed her second movie recently. The movie will be a remake of a Marathi movie titled Happy Journey. The actress has been extremely happy with the film and she got excited to sign the movie. The movie is said to be an emotional entertainer of two siblings, a sister and her brother. Harshavardhan Rane has been finalized to play her brother in the movie. The regular shoot will start from September this year and a new debutante will direct the movie.
