Superstar Rajinikanth is one of the finest Indian actors and he has been struggling for success as his past movies Kochadaiyaan and Lingaa failed to live-up the expectations.After a decent gap, Rajinikanth prepared for his next movie titled Kabali. Rajinikanth has taken special care on the movie and he decided not to take much risk. He personally has taken care of the script and signed the movie. Talented young director PA Ranjith has been assigned the responsibility to direct the movie who directed some sensible films in the past. Kabali is said to be an action entertainer and it shot enough fame after the release of the first teaser.
Radhika Apte played the female lead in the movie and Dhansika essayed a crucial role.Rajinikanth has been showcased in a different look that has never been seen in his movies. He essayed two completely different looks for the same character in Kabali and Santosh Narayanan composed the music. Made on a budget of Rs 120 crores, the movie has done a terrific pre-release business of Rs 223 crores all over the globe.
Kabali released in over 4000 screens all over and the movie received mixed response. Kabali opened to packed houses all over and the collections for the entire first weekend have been sold out all over. Kabali collected Rs 35-40 crores on its opening day across the globe in all the released languages. Kabali crossed 1 million USD mark with the premieres alone in USA and is going strong all over.
